Dr. Kristina Ricker

. . . is a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience specializing in trauma-focused care, with a primary focus on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Deeply committed to helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, and adverse life experiences,

Dr. Ricker creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process and reframe the past to find freedom in the present.

Trained and certified in EMDR, Dr. Ricker combines this powerful modality with other evidence-based approaches—including somatic awareness and cognitive-behavioral techniques—to support whole-person healing.

Dr. Ricker works with clients navigating PTSD, complex trauma, grief, and life transitions.

In addition to clinical work, Dr. Ricker provides consultation and mentorship to other clinicians seeking to deepen their EMDR practice or integrate trauma-informed care into their work. Known for their grounded presence, clinical expertise, and collaborative approach, Dr. Ricker supports fellow therapists in building confidence, skill, and ethical clarity in trauma treatment.

As of this date (April 2023), these 6 month-old-kittens remind us to slow down and enjoy the day. With reminders of the power of play, they encourage the practice of patience.

They are also masters at scratching anything that is not their scratching post.
